As Essayist
I bring to your table –
• my fluency in law (and legalese, which I can readily
translate into English)
• my knowledge and practice of personal finance and investing
• my quick mastery of new, complex commercial situations
• my special affinity for cultural institutions that honor, teach, promote and cherish the history, art, music and literature that are the canon of Western culture, and
• my heartfelt affection for animals.
I have long been a “Wordsmith” . . .
. . . at least since my high school graduation speech, even before “wordsmith” entered my vocabulary.
My most memorable college professor – a genuine scholar of history – assigned one-page, three-paragraph essays. They taught conciseness, discipline, organization.
Clear thinking. Cogent expression.
No fluff.
Then I wrote law reviews, briefs, oral arguments, summations. I’ve written financial columns, as a registered investment advisor, and radio ads. Political columns. And a bit of fundraising.
All of that was persuasion writing,
the essence of CopyWriting . . .
. . . strategically molding words — word smithing — to convince your prospects that you and what you offer, together, are the most trustworthy and effective solution to their needs and fulfillment of their desires.
